ReconcilingWorks NW Chapter
ReconcilingWorks NW supports ELCA Lutheran communities in Oregon and SW Washington that publicly welcome lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer believers. We work for policies to include all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. We are a local chapter of ReconcilingWorks.
RIC Sunday Service

Every winter we usually host a community-wide celebration of welcome for the LGBTQ+ community. Our 2021 video is on our YouTube channel, and we hope to gather in person in June of 2022.
Trainings

When we are able to gather in person, our chapter works together to provide trainings to help congregations learn how to journey together in conversations about LGBTQ+ welcome. We also recommend the Online Trainings from ReconcilingWorks.
Pride

Each year we participate in Pride celebrations in communities round the region. In 2020, since we could not gather in person, we created a virtual Pride video. We hope you enjoy it!
Congregational Accompaniment

Our Chapter board is here to answer your questions and walk with you and your congregation in the journey of LGBTQ+ welcome.

AIDS Walk NW

September brings AIDS Walk NW, when our team walks together to stamp out stigma, proclaim love and welcome for all, and help raise funds to support those affected by HIV.
